The Last Dance
Flowers that are on their way out or dying are often overlooked and thrown away. I find that flowers at the end of their life are in fact at their most beautiful and show their character of being extremely fragile/delicate, yet still incredibly strong and vibrant.
We are so quick to discard flowers sometimes, that we miss their final show. As the flowers go through this process where their texture, colour and shape change, this is what draws me to photograph them – during their last dance.
